July 4th

This was how I spent my night on July 4th. Waiting for the fireworks. I had my 5D with me but there was too many people standing to make a good stand and shoot the fireworks. Maybe another time.

A bit of a hiatus from posting but I finally got a little time to show off a recent photo from a shoot in LA.

I shot this by a popular fish and chips called A Salt and Battery. A very funny play on words (assault and battery). I only had my new iPhone with me so I chose the best vantage angle I can find and took a snap.

Here is another shot with just a reflector on camera right.  My on camera flash was pointed at the reflector to give the model some fill light.

It was a cold overcast day so to give this shoot a more spring like feel, I had to scout around for places that had some color to it.
