Amusing shot of Patrick Cann.

After wrapping up taking headshots for Patrick at his apartment, he asked me if I can take a shot of him with his director’s chair. He had gotten it as a gift and now was a good time to put it to some use. Patrick can be quite a comedian so he easily made this shot work. All I did was use two lights on left and right zoomed in tight to give a spot light effect and a strobe in an umbrella for overall fill.

This was how I spent my night on July 4th. Waiting for the fireworks. I had my 5D with me but there was too many people standing to make a good stand and shoot the fireworks. Maybe another time.

I shot this by a popular fish and chips called A Salt and Battery. A very funny play on words (assault and battery). I only had my new iPhone with me so I chose the best vantage angle I can find and took a snap.
